Live statusWhat does this mean?

Track your UPS parcel
Where to find your UPS tracking number
UPS calls it the tracking number, 1Z number.
- The shipping confirmation from the sender.
- The UPS label on the package.
UPS number formats we recognise
Common patterns, not an official specification. If a number could belong to several couriers, CheckMyOrder asks you to choose.
| Pattern | How sure we are | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| ^1Z[0-9A-Z]{16}$ | Verified format (check digit) | UPS '1Z' tracking numbers (18 characters). Check digit validated. |
Tips and common problems
1Z numbers have a check digit
UPS 1Z numbers are 18 characters and end with a check digit. CheckMyOrder verifies it, which catches many typing mistakes.
What CheckMyOrder can't do
- Change your delivery address, reschedule delivery or arrange returns — contact UPS or the seller.
- Show more detail than UPS publishes. Couriers record scans at hubs and on delivery, not continuous GPS location.
- Speak for UPS. CheckMyOrder is independent and not affiliated with UPS.
UPS tracking FAQs
Does CheckMyOrder show live UPS status?
Not at the moment. UPS offers an official tracking API, but CheckMyOrder isn't connected to it yet, so we link you to UPS's official tracker.
