Blinkit, Zepto, Instamart & BigBasket: How Quick-Commerce Order Tracking Works
Quick-commerce orders don't have an AWB, so courier trackers can't find them. Here's how tracking actually works for these apps.

The short answer
Quick-commerce apps such as Blinkit, Zepto, Swiggy Instamart, Flipkart Minutes and BigBasket deliver from stores or warehouses near you, using their own delivery partners. No courier company is involved, so these orders don't have an AWB or courier tracking number.
That means you can't track them on a courier's website or on CheckMyOrder. The only place to follow them is the app you ordered from.
Why there is no tracking number
A courier tracking number (AWB) exists so that a parcel can be followed as it moves between a seller, courier hubs and a delivery agent. Quick-commerce orders skip all of that: the app packs your order nearby and its own rider brings it straight to you, often within minutes. The order ID in the app is the only reference, and only that app can look it up.
How to follow a quick-commerce order
- Open the app you ordered from and go to your orders. (Swiggy Instamart orders appear in both the Swiggy app and the separate Instamart app.)
- Open the current order. While it is on the way, these apps usually show the order status and the delivery partner's progress, and many let you call or chat with the rider.
- For scheduled grocery deliveries (for example a BigBasket delivery slot), the order page shows the slot and the current status.
If your order is late
- Check the order page first — it shows the latest status the app has.
- Use help or chat on that order in the app. Support can see the rider's location and the store's updates, which outside trackers can't.
- If the app offers to cancel a delayed order, read what it says about refunds before you confirm.
Missing, wrong or damaged items
- Report it from the order page as soon as possible. Apps usually ask for a photo of the items you received, so keep the packaging until it's resolved.
- Check your bag or box carefully — small items sometimes come in a separate bag.
Marked "delivered" but you didn't receive it
Ask family members, neighbours and building security first, then report it from the order page straight away so there is a written record. If a genuine complaint isn't resolved, you can register a grievance with the National Consumer Helpline (consumerhelpline.gov.in or toll-free 1915).
Beware of fake delivery messages
Quick-commerce apps show delivery updates inside the app. Be careful with SMS or WhatsApp messages that claim to be about your delivery and ask you to pay a fee, share an OTP or open an unfamiliar link — check the order inside the official app instead.
When CheckMyOrder can help
Some of these companies also sell larger items that are shipped by a courier rather than delivered by a rider — for example most Flipkart and Amazon orders, and non-grocery JioMart orders. Those orders do have a courier tracking number in the order details, and you can track them here.
